SWIMMING SESSIONS – Year 5/6

- SWIMMING SESSIONS – Year 5/6As swimming is part of the P.E. curriculum entitlement, school is commencing lessons for Y5 and Y6 children at the swimming pool at George Washington Primary. Lessons will begin on Tuesday 21st May. These will continue every Tuesday until Tuesday 9th July. Please ensure your child brings his/her swimming kit every Tuesday. The swimming session is from 1 pm to 2 pm and children will leave school by coach. The children will be supervised by 1 swimming instructor and 2 members of staff from school. Please make sure that full swimming costumes (no bikinis) for girls and swim shorts (not below knee) for boys, towels, goggles and swim caps are all clearly named and put in a plastic bag which should also have the child’s name on. Please note: Both girls and boys will need to wear a swimming hat. No jewellery to be worn.
